3 Things to Ask When You’re Struggling
β
Life has a way of throwing curveballs at us.
β
Iβve faced a lawsuit, medical crises, major debt, a divorce, and debilitating burnout.
β
But hereβs what Iβve learned. Every obstacle carries within it the seed of an opportunity. An opportunity to see things differently, to do things differently. Because when life isnβt what you want, you have a choice on what comes next. How you want it to be. Who you want to be.
β
I know this because Iβve lived this.
β
That divorce, it led me to find the love of my life. That lawsuit, it turned into a book deal. Being broke taught me to heal my relationship with money and watching my son go through two open heart surgeries as a baby opened my own heart in ways I never thought possible.
β
Hereβs the thing. Iβm not special.
β
Iβm just determined to not let suffering be the end of the story. Instead, itβs the beginning, the beginning of a transformation of crap into gold And you can too.
β
It starts with asking yourself three powerful questions:
β
1οΈβ£ What does the universe want me to learn?
β
2οΈβ£ How can I make this work for me?
β
3οΈβ£ How I can use this to connect with or serve others?
β
You might not have an answer right away, and thatβs okay. Just keep asking. The next step is to really feel your emotions. Donβt strive for strong. Go for soft. Softening allows you to be more open to receiving lifeβs lessons.
β
Be prepared though. Progress isnβt linear. Just know that the things that destabilize you actually creates the perfect conditions for transformation. That moment when your world gets tilted, thatβs when you see things from a new perspective. And you donβt have to have it all figured out to take action. In fact, the mess is where the magic happens. Itβs where YOU happen.
β
Because youβre leaving behind who you were in the other world, the before times before shit hit the fan. Youβre now stepping into – no you are creating – who you will be in this new world. If youβre scared. Good. You should be. The unknown always is. But in that fear, I want you to add in a little bit of excitement. Because life is so much richer on this side. Aliveness. Awesomeness.
β
I canβt wait to see you here.
