You might’ve noticed that we teach a lot of salary negotiation classes here at Ladies Get Paid. Why? We believe that getting a raise is the best way for an individual to help close the wage gap.
Our mission is to close the wage and leadership gap (no big deal!) and tackling such a huge, systemic problem can be overwhelming, and sometimes downright depressing.
However, if each of us gets paid more, then collectively we are making a difference. Too nervous to negotiate? Remember you’re not just asking for yourself, but for all of us.
