You’re qualified. So why aren’t you getting hired?
You updated the resume. You applied to the jobs. You rewrote the cover letter at 11pm for a role you really wanted.
Then nothing. No rejection, no interview. Or you made it to the final round, and they went with someone else without telling you why.
Either way, a quiet voice starts suggesting the problem is you.
The problem isn’t you. The way people get hired has changed, and most of the advice hasn’t.
Job hunting can be a beast, often feeling like it’s leading nowhere, but Claire’s guidance really helped me refocus and move forward with confidence.
— Megan
Who actually gets hired
When you apply cold, you’re one of about 180 people applying for every job that gets filled. A good resume helps you get noticed. It doesn’t guarantee anyone will read it.
Meanwhile, the candidates someone vouched for are about ten times more likely to get hired than the ones who applied cold.
So the question isn’t how to send more applications. It’s whether you know what makes you valuable, can say it in a way the right person understands, and can get it in front of them.
I wasn’t landing interviews for the roles I really wanted, the opportunities I was excited about. With her exceptionally generous and strategic approach, I feel re-energized and confident.
— Kimberly Driggers
What staying stuck is costing you
If you’re between jobs and aiming for $100,000, every month of searching costs you more than $8,000. If you’re employed, every month in the wrong role is another month of work that doesn’t move you forward.
And the longer it drags on, the less you negotiate. Take an offer $10,000 below your worth because you’re exhausted, and you don’t lose $10,000. You lose it every year, and every future raise gets calculated off the lower number.
It costs you in other ways too. Refreshing your inbox. Dreading the question “So how’s the search going?” The story you start telling yourself about why no one is calling back.
I was feeling stuck after months of job searching and needed support to gain my momentum back. Claire helped me completely reframe how I approach the job search and how I view myself through the job search process.
— Emily Kasnak
Inside Ladies Get Hired
Four weeks to master your job search strategy, materials, and mindset.
See what makes you valuable.
Most women can’t answer “What are you great at?” without hedging. We start by pulling it out of you: your best work, your values, your dealbreakers, and the number you need to be paid.
Tell your story the right way.
A resume, LinkedIn, and interview answers that say clearly and compellingly what makes you different from everyone else going for the same role.
Get in front of the right people.
A short list of companies worth your time, a plan for getting the people you already know to help you without it feeling awkward, and the words to reach out to people you don’t.
She asked really poignant, thought-provoking questions that made me think about who I am at my core, not just my professional self… I am going to be using her materials and strategies for years to come.
— Quin Paseka
Week 1: Your Foundation.
Your best work written up as case studies, plus your values, your dealbreakers, and your number.
Week 2: Your Direction.
The roles you’re best positioned for, and where to find them.
Week 3: Your Story and Outreach.
New materials in hand, and your first messages sent.
Week 4: Your Interviews.
Your best stories, sharpened, including how to answer “What are your salary expectations?” without leaving money on the table.
Every session opens with a nervous system practice. A job search is one of the most stressful things you’ll do, and it’s hard to sell yourself when your body is bracing for rejection.
Claire gave me ways to support myself from a somatic level, lovingly called me out when I was using excuses, and also helped me realize that I was actually much farther along than I was giving myself credit for.
— Kristin Quiroz Bayona

What I do for you
This isn’t a course where you watch videos and figure it out alone. I review your situation and give you personalized guidance and materials built around it.
Your paths report.
I read your case studies and values and map the roles you’re best positioned for, from most likely to least. For each one you’ll see what’s in the way: missing information, missing experience, or a story that isn’t landing yet.
Your positioning statement.
A clear, specific way to say what makes you great, in your own voice. It’s what you’ll use when someone asks what you do, in your outreach messages, and in the first minute of every interview.
Your resume and LinkedIn, rewritten.
Not a template with your name on it. Your materials, rebuilt around what makes you valuable, plus a toolkit for tailoring them to every application after we’re done.
Your interview prep.
The questions you’re most likely to be asked for the roles you’re going after, matched to the stories from your own work that answer them best.
She invested genuine time into understanding my background and where I want to go, translating my experience into polished, thoughtful language… I realized that my ‘dream job’ isn’t a reach. I am more than qualified. Beyond the resume and cover letter refresh, Claire provided me with a comprehensive ‘career story’ toolkit to replicate this process for any role.

Why I built this

For a decade I’ve helped women go after what they’re worth. I wrote the book on it, Ladies Get Paid, published by Simon & Schuster, and Ladies Get Paid has taught 55,000 women. I’ve partnered with Indeed, trained PayPal’s women employees across the country, taught negotiation at Harvard Business School, and spoken at NASA, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Spotify, and more. Entrepreneur named me one of its 100 Most Powerful Women, and Robin Roberts called me “the career coach helping ladies get paid” on Good Morning America.
What I’m proudest of is what happens after. Women I’ve coached have switched industries, come back from layoffs, and walked into interviews knowing exactly what they bring.
Here’s what I’ve learned from all of it. The women who struggle most in a job search are rarely the least talented. They’re the ones who were taught to downplay what they do, who would rather send 200 applications than ask a friend for help, and who try to push through the stress alone. What we’ve been taught to expect shapes what we believe we’re allowed to ask for, including in a job search.
Ladies Get Hired is about helping you land a great job, but more importantly, it’s about helping you see why you deserve it.
This is for you if
- You’ve been applying and hearing nothing back
- You know you’re good at your job but can’t explain why in a way that lands
- You’re not sure which role to go after next
- You’re searching quietly while employed, or you were laid off and want a plan
- You want structure and people to do this with, not another course to watch alone
I joined Claire’s program as I started navigating the job search process after a layoff and it was 100% the right decision… not only is my resume stronger, but my confidence is too.
— Susan Kovar
This is not for you if:
- You want someone to apply to jobs for you
- You’re not willing to reach out to people
- You can’t give 90 minutes a week to homework
- You’re looking for a guaranteed job offer
Questions
How much time does this take?
One 90-minute live session a week, plus about 90 minutes of homework. Week 1 asks a little more, and the morning meetups are there to help you get it done.
What if I can’t make it live?
Every session is recorded, and the weekday morning meetups keep you connected between sessions. Come live when you can, since that’s where you get coached in real time.
I’m employed and searching quietly. Is this for me?
Yes. Nothing we do requires announcing your search publicly.
I don’t know what I want next. Should I still join?
Yes. Weeks 1 and 2 are built for exactly that.
Does this cover salary negotiation?
You’ll set your number and learn how to answer the salary question in interviews. Negotiating the offer itself happens one-on-one with me, for $250 instead of $500.
You don’t need to send more applications. You need to know what makes you valuable, say it clearly, and say it to the right people.
Four weeks. Twenty-five spots. I’d love for one of them to be yours.
