Virtual Town Hall: The Guilt of Charging More May 4 2PM EST

*This event will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers.**

What has been holding you back from charging more?

Raising your rates unfortunately is not as simple as just doing market research. To truly embrace your worth – and stand your ground – requires an excavation into the relationship you have with money and why certain things like guilt can get in the way of charging what you deserve.

It doesn’t help that we’re in a culture that can often make women, in particular, feel like they’re being “greedy” to desire wealth or that wanting more for yourself, somehow means less for everyone else.

WE ARE SO OVER THIS. The first step to making change is by talking about it. In 2016, Ladies Get Paid founder & author Claire Wasserman, went to 19 cities across the country, hosting town halls for thousands of women to talk about money. These story-sharing experiences showed us that we’re a) not alone and b) how much we can learn from each other.

We want to bring ’em back, but this time, do it virtually. Here’s how a town hall typically works:

👉 A number of pre-selected attendees will share their stories first, as it relates to the theme.

👉Then, anyone in attendance is welcome to share their stories and/or ask a question to those who shared before them.

👉From our stories, we’ll discuss tools and tactics that have helped us improve – or in this case, make more 🙂

By the end of this event, we hope you’ll come away with a better understanding of:

✅ Why you hesitate to charge more/the psychology behind the guilt

✅ How you can confidently increase your rates

✅ What you can say to those who may push back

✅ Whatever else comes of what will no doubt be an illuminating conversation!

Can’t attend the event but have a great story/thoughts to share on this subject? Leave us a voicemail at 310-844-6731‬.
