After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Art and a Minor in Arts Education, Angel, a first-generation, queer, Filipina American, found herself depressed, spiraling down and struggling to find direction. However, with the motto: Action Cures Fear, she took the leap and created Passion Planner, a paper life coach, from her parent’s garage. Since then, Passion Planner has now helped 1,500,000 people live in their purpose with less stress and more fun. It utilizes love, gratitude and self-motivation as the primary force to propel action in people’s lives. It helps intimidating projects look like adventures, failures to be seen as valuable experiences and success as remnants of a beautiful process, not the end goal.
Now, a thriving multimillion dollar company, Passion Planner gives back through a growing Get One, Give One program, donating over 500,000 planners each year to empower schools and NPOs all around the world. Her dream is to help create a world where everyone has the courage, tools, and community to build their ideal life, and work day in and day out to make those dreams a reality.
