Eavesdrop on my coaching sessions

Welcome to Ladies Get Paid, a weekly newsletter that helps you own your worth, expand your wealth, and transform your world.

In the past eight years, I’ve coached thousands of women from all walks of life, all over the world, in all stages of their careers.

Whenever it’s in a group setting – which it often is – I get the same email after, every single time.

“I thought I was the only one.”

The email then goes on to detail how that realization of not being alone, marked a turning point. An ah-moment of self-actualization, the missing piece in the path of pushing forward to who they want to be.

Here’s what I’ve found both as a coach and in my journey of self-discovery. Whatever we’re grappling with (from office politics to inner critics), the feeling of aloneness makes it worse. It makes us ashamed.

That’s why I fervently believe transparency is transformative, and why I’ve dedicated these newsletters to sharing my stories.

Now, through my brand new podcast, I’m sharing the stories of other women as they do the hard work of working on themselves.

Each episode is a real coaching session – recorded with consent and edited for clarity – with the goal that their journey will help illuminate yours. (If you like Esther Perel’s podcast, you’ll like this.)

And because I practice what I preach, sometimes I’ll turn the tables and put myself in the hot seat, as I invite coaches and therapists to guide me through challenges I’m experiencing.

In short: we’re all going through something. We might as well go through it together, and cheer each other on along the way.

Take a listen to the first three episodes below and stay tuned for next week’s, where you’ll meet Marissa, who is exploring a career pivot.

In this episode, you’ll meet Kathleen, who has just returned from maternity leave and is feeling a lack of confidence, or she says, “She doesn’t belong in a room of leaders.” Because of that self-doubt, Kathleen is also questioning if this is the right company or career path for her. As we get deeper into this session, what starts as a conversation about career strategy turns into an exploration of what is enough and how to define success according to our values.

In this episode, you’ll meet Caitlin who has a great idea for a business but came to me for guidance on how to get started, ways to do market research, how to best prioritize her time and to-dos, plus how to know when she’s ready to officially launch.

In this episode, you’ll meet Bea who has just finished up a year of travel, after getting unexpectedly laid off. She’s feeling demoralized by all the rejection and sought guidance from me to see how she can better stand out as a candidate plus sustain her motivation during the job search because as any of us who has been in her position knows, it’s definitely a marathon.
