About Carolyn Vadino
Carolyn Vadino is the head of communications for Gemini, a crypto platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. In her role she leads the integrated communications strategy that has helped advance the company’s growth and revenue. Throughout her career she has advised startups, government officials, and Fortune 500 companies, executing integrated programs to build brands, develop customer relationships and generate demand. Prior to Gemini, she was the chief communications officer and marketing leader for cybersecurity firm Stroz Friedberg which was acquired by Fortune 500 risk management firm Aon.
Carolyn also has federal government experience and served as the deputy spokeswoman for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations under the Obama and Bush administrations. She was also a spokeswoman at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, deploying on special assignments to handle crisis communications and issues management to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from West Virginia University. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and children.
