Call me a glutton for punishment, but I love taking something that traditionally “sucks” (negotiating, networking, job search) and showing you how to use it for empowerment. Don’t worry, this isn’t some “just think positive!” BS. I genuinely believe that if done in the right way, it’s an opportunity for you to come out stronger. Here’s what I mean:
That’s why I’m obsessed with the upcoming Ladies Get Hired coaching program. Yes, it’s about finding you a new job – but it’s also about helping you find yourself and learning the tools to build real, long lasting confidence. Looking for work, in my opinion, is one of the bravest things you can do. How could you not!? You’re putting yourself out knowing you might very well be told No! “I’d love to say yes but we’ve decided to restructure.” Or… crickets. You pour your heart and soul into applying, just to be ghosted. People tell you not to take it personally, but how is that possible? Just like you need tools to protect your system of the job search, you need tools to protect your self-esteem. Struggling? Here’s some things to try:
I’ve been referring to the Ladies Get Hired program as a bit of a Trojan horse. Jobs come and go. You need to be your ultimate safety net and the only way you’re going to feel safe in yourself is by developing trust in yourself. (Which is incidentally the Latin root for the word, confidence!) I’m truly honored that I get to be part of your career/confidence journey.
We have less than 10 spots left for next month’s coaching program, so if you’ve been putting it off registering, your opportunity is closing!
